Diploma in Early Childhood Care Education is Early Childhood Care Education course. The course is also known as Diploma in Early Childhood Care Education, Diploma in Early Child Care Education and Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education. It is also known as ECCEd, DECCEd, DECEd, DECEd and ECEd. This course helps the candidate in developing the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for working with young children up to six years of age. It enables them to organise and manage child-care centres like Schools, preschools, nursery schools, kindergardens and day-care centres, Anganwadi. This Diploma course deals with a preschool curriculum and has the ability to significantly contribute to a child's proper growth. Academic course is combined with field placements, which enable students to gain an understanding physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of children.

The duration of the course is 1 year
